My family had a delightful stay at Heron Cottage, a charming property with a beautiful garden located just a short drive from Paultons Park and the New Forest. the cottage was spotless and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. the hosts were welcoming and even provided some thoughtful extras upon our arrival, such as milk, sugar, teabags, biscuits, and a bottle of wine. While the sofas were a bit small and shallow for my tall husband, they suited me just fine. One small annoyance was the resident cat at the main house, who seemed determined to gain access to our cottage. As someone with a fear of cats, this made me a little uneasy, but the kids found it more amusing than anything. Overall, Heron Cottage provided a peaceful and secluded retreat for our family, and the proximity to family-friendly attractions made it a perfect choice for our weekend getaway.
